• Omaha MicroSchool

E3 Modern Learning is a hybrid microschool in Omaha that partners with families to provide an engaging, student-driven education focused on the academic and character development of children in High-Five preschool-6th grade.

    • Student-Centered and Driven

Student interests guide explorations that are supported by rigorous academics and critical thinking skills. Involving scholars in these decisions allows the student to take more ownership of their learning and develop a life long love of learning.

    • Project-based Learning

These experiences are designed to be interdisciplinary explorations, bringing together Science, Math, Social Studies, and Language Arts

    • Interdisciplinary

A teaching approach that combines the curricular objectives and methods from more than one discipline focusing on a central theme, issue, or problem.

    • Multi-age Colloboration

Learners are at the center, socially and academically. Personalized learning is a distinctive feature.

  • Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-3:00

At this point, we are anticipating three PODS (playground of development) with 10-12 students each, capping our enrollment at 34. If there is more interest, a waiting list will be developed. If we have enough interest for additional pods, we will seek an additional location and staff, notifying parents of the possibilities.

Traditional learning day includes three components whole group, small group, and individual. Our spiral approach empowers knowledge through diverse exposure to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic lessons, connecting the diverse learning styles.

*We utilize a variety of curriculums in order to meet the needs of the diverse learners we serve. (For example: some students may master mathematical concepts best using technology while others may need more tactile tools like Singapore.)

*We follow a mastery approach, which is supported by current educational research.

*Our proprietary curriculum framework is a blend of Montessori, Reggio-Emila, Waldorf, and traditional methods.
