Safety/Hygiene Protocol
Hello,
Below is the updated guidelines for summer camp. The guidelines are to protect the kiddos, staff, and our community. The guidelines are consistent with the health and safety recommendations and ongoing monitoring efforts stated by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) during the COVID pandemic.
I want kids to have a camp experience while still social distancing. Each child will have their own working area and supplies that will be cleaned between each activity. There will be some days we will be outside working.
Facility:
- Clean and disinfect before and after kiddos arrive with
- Between each activity, the areas will be clean
- Properly clean and disinfect bathroom after each use
- Each student will have their own working area with supplies
Staff:
- All staff will be given temperature check when they arrive at camp
- Will wash hand before campers arrive and use hand sanitizer when needed
- Camp coaches will be giving air high fives
- Mask will not be required
Students and Parents:
- A coach will greet your child by the car
- Please do not bring your child for 72 hours if they are not feeling well. They will be able to participate virtually
- Students will use hand sanitizer between each activity
- Bring a water bottle daily
- Masks are not required but students can wear if they prefer
What If We Shut Down Again?
If the state mandates we are to close. Your child will have the opportunity for a live virtual camp. You will be given the lesson plan digitally and we will meet several times a day to complete the activities. We will not meet for lunch and the snack./break schedule. You will have the option of a refund as well.
